Chunky Basil Pasta Sauce
adapted from Complete Book of Small-Batch Canning

1 1/3 cups cherry-red wine
2/3 loving cup cherry-red vino vinegar
1 loving cup chopped fresh basil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (may substitute 1 tablespoon dried)
2 teaspoons pickling salt
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 tin love apple tree glue (12 oz.)
Preheat an oven to 425° (convection roasting industrial plant good for this). Halve tomatoes too house cutting side downward on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet.
